How to choose and negociate your next holiday rental in Hua Hin

One of the fist question our customers ask is : what should i really expect ?

And to this question we usually answer by : it all depends on several factors.

1/ House or condominium

It is a fact the houses are cheaper than condominiums in Hua Hin. The lattest condominium are all by the sea with a private beach access and offer much better facilities houses usually have : fitness, pool and concierge service, laundry.

The local Thai market also pushes prices up with day rental. An owner could get up to 4000 THB a day for a 1 bedroom condo in city center... Your negotiating margin won't be as good as with a condo than with a house.

2/ distance from city center / from the sea

Distance from city center / the sea also plays an important role in procing a property. With so little space left in Hua Hin a front beach house could be as expensive or more expensive than in Europe whereas your average 2 bedroom house out of town could be a good deal for a holiday rental.

3/ overall state of the accomodation

Check out the place and its overall stay, it could be an argument while negociating the rent

4/ duration or rental period 

The lenght of the rental period is one of the most important factor and where you might get more 'leverage' while negociating the rent.Hua Hin rentals market is seasonnal and  If Hua Hin is fully booked in High season, there are lots of accomodation available from April to September. Reminding the owner that his property will be rented over long period can help you save a lot of money especially if you get a low season price on your rent.
